Box Hill Miniature Steam Railway

A volunteer-run miniature railway in Elgar Park where families can ride behind steam, diesel and solar-powered locomotives on scheduled public running days. The railway is especially good for train-loving children, with a roughly 10-minute ride, parkland around the track and an old-fashioned station experience that makes the train itself the focus of the outing. Public running days are usually held monthly, with tickets sold on site.
