What The Playmap is
The Playmap is an informational guide to family friendly places and events in Melbourne. We aim to keep listings useful and accurate, but details change. Opening hours, prices, facilities and events may change without notice.
Always check the venue
Before travelling, especially for ticketed events or seasonal places, check the venue's own website or contact them directly. To the extent permitted by law, The Playmap is not responsible for closures, missed events or details that have changed since they were last checked.
Saving and signing in
Saved places and events are tied to an anonymous identifier on your device unless you sign in, in which case they are tied to your account. Signing in is optional and exists so your saved items can follow you between devices.
Contributions
By submitting a place, event or correction, you give us a non exclusive licence to use, edit and publish the information you submit for the purpose of operating The Playmap. You keep any rights you already have in that content.
Only submit information you have the right to share and nothing false, abusive or infringing on someone else's rights.
Do not include contact form messages within this licence. Contact messages are private enquiries and are not contributions for publication.
Content ownership
Unless otherwise stated, original editorial content, branding, design and code created for The Playmap are owned by or licensed to The Playmap Melbourne. Third party content, including venue photos and Google sourced data, remains subject to the rights and terms of its respective owners and providers.
Links to other sites
The Playmap links to venue websites, event organisers, ticketing pages and map providers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or how they handle your information.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as The Playmap evolves. When we do, we will update the date above. The updated terms apply from the date shown.
