Pioneer Settlement

Step into a recreated riverside town with old shops, blacksmithing, printing and historic machinery. Children can look inside the PS Gem paddle steamer, see a displayed steam locomotive, and join the included horse-and-carriage or vintage-car rides when operating. Demonstrations depend on the day’s programme and volunteers, so check what is running when you arrive. Day admission is valid for two consecutive days. The Pyap river cruise and evening laser-light stories are separate experiences, not automatically included in village entry. Paths and historic buildings have uneven surfaces and steps; ask about access needs before booking.
