SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium

A large indoor aquarium in Melbourne CBD with sharks, rays, penguins, jellyfish, seahorses, a saltwater crocodile and other marine and freshwater animals across themed zones. It works across the full family age range and is particularly useful as an all-weather city attraction. The Rocky Shores habitat introduces real rockpool animals including sea stars, hermit crabs and sea cucumbers. Ordinary aquarium entry does not include swimming: the separately booked Shark Dive Xtreme scuba experience is for ages 14 and over and requires reasonable swimming ability and compliance with the operator’s medical requirements.
